Q: How did you hear about the audition?
A: My one-and-only manager
Q: What was your first reaction when you got the part?
A: "WOOOOOOOOOO HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!! MORE FANS!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" I love my fans and was stoked to have even more. So blessed.
Q: Have you seen Power Rangers in the past?
A: Yes, but I don't remember much. I was way too young all I know is that I loved it! Kids don't hate anything!!!
Q: When did you first realize you wanted to be a performer/actor/comedian?
A: I first started as a dancer/magician. Then I decided to randomly go to a talent showcase where agencies/managers were judging. After I was finished, a manager came up to me and said he wanted to represent me. I said sure great! Then he told me he wanted me to act, ever since I did my first film I fell in love with the work.
Q: What is your favorite color?
Neon GreenQ: What is your opinion of the PR franchise and its fanbase?
A: PR fanbase is incredibly incredible! haha i love them! The best fanbase ever!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!
Q: Did the comedic duo, Bulk and Skull, have any influence in your life?
A: BIG TIME! In the audition process i watched every single bulk and skull appearance on power rangers to get the idea of what the characters are like. Which payed off and I got confirmed for PR which is life changing in my eyes.
Q: How does it feel to be part of the latest line in such a long lived franchise?
A: WOOOO HOOO!!! It is the beginning of a dream come true. I've always wanted to have alot of fans, fans who look up to me and some that follow my steps. This is an amazing opportunity.
Q: When's your birthday?
A: July 5th 1990
Q: Prior to this entire auditioning process, did you know Power Rangers was still airing?
A: No, I didn't have a clue until I was done with the auditions. Then when I checked on IMDb I saw that episodes were still airing.
Q: What's your favorite season of Power Rangers?
A: Seasons 1-3
Q: Who's your favorite actor?
A: Jim Carrey / Johnny Depp
Q: What was it like to work with Paulie?
A: Working with Paulie has truly been a blessing. He is not only an incredible actor, but a very intelligent and supportive individual. I have much respect for him. We have a blast on set.
Q: What was your favorite moment with Paulie?
A: When we are in the trailer/trolly. Gets Way to hilarious in there!
Q: What's the best thing about being part of the cast of Power Rangers?
A: Best thing about being part of the Power Rangers is definitely without a doubt, having strong support from fans.
Q: If you could be any color of Power Ranger, which color would you pick?
A: If I could be any color I would pick Silver.
Q: What do you think Skull (Spike's dad) is doing now?
A: I think Spike's dad is laughing now.
Q: What was it like working with the cast members?
A: Working with the cast was a superb experience, we had much fun and looking forward to the next time around.
Q: If you could change any one thing about the whole Power Rangers Samurai process that you have participated, what would it be?
A: I would not change anything at all. Everything happens for a reason.
Q: Have you had any martial arts training?
A: I had martial arts training when i was about 9-14
Q: Did you audition for any other roles?
A: I also auditioned for the Gold Ranger
Q: Have you met Jason Narvy?
A: I have met Jason
Q: Did you watch the original power rangers show when you were a young man?
A: I definitely watched MMPR in my younger days
Q: How would you compare your audition for Gold Ranger and Spike?
A: Spike was more "me" and much more fun to play than Gold in my opinion. I felt more free.
Q: If you were asked to return for the next season, would you?
A: Muhahahhaah
Q: If you could play another character, who would it be?
A: I would like to do a voice for a monster
Q: Did you watch the MMPR Revision Season last year?
A: I've watched MMPR videos online on YouTube
Q: What is a typical day on the set?
A: Me just acting a fool!
Q: How long does it take to film a scene?
A: Each scene differs from another.
Q: Do you have any input on your character?
A: Just be myself with the mannerisms of the original.
Q: How do you feel the Spike character was written?
A: It is great and I love every second of Spike. Very freelance. Spike is meant to be like his father. Be annoying with weird laugh but a little different from his dad.
Q: How old is Spike?
A: Spike is around 14
Q: What seasons of PR did you watch?
A: I watched MMPR 1 2 3, Mystic Force, RPM, and SPD
Q: What did you think of your role in Victorious?
A: I loved playing Damian on Victorious hahaha. I love dark characters. Had a blast with the amazingly talented cast.
Q: What was it like to work with Victoria?
A: Victoria is a beautiful sweetheart. Like a princess, literally. haha shes very awesome and good taste in music!
Q: How similar are you to Spike in real life?
A: a lot of the personality/energy in Spike is very similar to mine.
Q: Have you ever met Jason Narvy? If so, did he give you any input on your character?
A: Yes, I have met Jason and we had a blast. Great guy. We talked about the characters mannerisms.
Q: If asked to return for a future season, would you rather be a Ranger or a villain?
A: I would like to be both.
Q: Who are your main influences for playing Spike?
A: I don't really have an influence on this role. I was fortunate enough for Narvy to spend his time and go over the mannerisms of the character.
Q: What was it like acting lovestruck when Spike is saved by the Pink Samurai Ranger?
A: We had a blast doing that scene. Definitely a memorable experience there.
