Jayden (Red Ranger)

Jayden Shiba is the 18th leader of the Samurai Power Rangers.

Jayden has spent his entire life training with Mentor Ji. He takes his training very seriously and will do whatever it takes to win every battle.

Jayden's father, the previous Red Ranger, used the Shiba Family Sealing Symbol to temporarily seal Master Xandred. Right before his demise, his father passed down the Red Ranger powers to Jayden. Jayden doesn't know how to harness the sealing symbol. Master Xandred and Octoroo will stop at nothing to defeat the Red Ranger before he learns the Sealing Symbol.

Jayden has a secret that only Mentor Ji and Daisuke are aware of. Despite Jayden's difficulties to harness the Beetle Disc, Jayden has proved that he can harness the Red Ranger powers. There are moments where Jayden feels that he isn't the true Red Ranger.

As a child, Antonio was Jayden's only friend. Antonio taught Jayden about friendship and taking a break from the Samurai life. After Antonio left, Jayden maintained his focus on training. He cares about his teammates and pays close attention to their appropriate skill set.

Red Ranger used the Black Box for the first time in Power Rangers: Super Samurai "Super Samurai" episode.

Red Ranger used the Shark Mode for the first time in Power Rangers: Super Samurai "Clash of the Red Rangers" special.

Jayden (Red Ranger) is played by Alex Heartman.
